Bonnington Future Project
Built in the 1930’s by the Gillette Family for the manufacture of razors and razor blades, this iconic historic grade 2 building and the 11 acre site are now owned by the McGettigan family. The Bonnington Group has developed a masterplan for the redevelopment of the site. The masterplan, as a whole, proposes the retention and conversion of the listed Gillette Building to hotel use and the comprehensive redevelopment of the remainder of the site to provide a significant quantum of modern flexible business space. The overall vision for the site is to create a fully integrated ‘business community’, containing flexible business floorspace (designed to cater for a range of potential users) contained within a high quality landscaped environment and fully serviced by a number of ancillary uses (including a new hotel). The new hotel has been designed to retain the historic building and convert it to a 400 bedroom 4 star hotel with extensive conference and banqueting facilities, which will provide a service to the wider area, providing accommodation to workers and business persons not only visiting and working at Gillette Corner but to West London and Heathrow generally. |
